Anne's Backstory

Anne Eames grew up in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, an only child with an active imagination. In her twenties she discovered she was adopted which propelled her on a successful search for biological family, a heartwarming journey that uncovered nine siblings and a wealth of stories. It was after this experience that Anne felt compelled to write.

After a number of false starts, Anne's first novel won the "Maggie Award" and the editor who judged it bought the manuscript.  Immediately, it made the USA Bestsellers' List as well as other books that followed.  But ask Anne what she's most proud of, and she'll tell you about the letter she received from an aspiring author who attended one of Anne's writing workshops, went home, used what she had learned and sold her first novel to Warner Books.

At the height of her career, Anne took a 10 year sabbatical when she and her late husband, Bill, answered God's call and moved to South Africa.  Even though she wasn't writing during that time, she was squirreling away unforgettable stories of people, places and events, some of which readers will discover in her new trilogy, currently a work in progress.
